AYC + PROJECT 24/7
The Murkim people live in the remote, mountainous interior of Papua, Indonesia, in villages only accessible by small aircraft. They are a close-knit community with extremely limited access to education, infrastructure, and outside resources. The Murkim are identified as Muslim, and have very little exposure to the gospel and no access to Scripture in their own language. The Murkim language currently has no Bible translation, making it difficult for the message of Jesus to be clearly understood. Through our partnership with Project 24/7, Arkansas Youth Conference is helping support the translation of God’s Word for the Murkim people so they can encounter the truth of Jesus Christ in their own language.
