Dubs Byers, EdDDubs married his wonderful wife Jane in 1972.
He is currently the interim pastor of Hebron Missionary Baptist Church, DeWitt, Arkansas. Dubs was with the Arkansas Corrections School System, 1975-2014, serving as superintendent from 2005 to 2014. He was appointed to the Board of Corrections by Gov. Hutchinson in 2015 and reappointed in 2022. He is the author of the book "The Paper Plate Escape," which chronicles a prison escape in 1979. He has a doctorate in Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Dubs defends the truth of God's word through his Facebook reels where he challenges anyone to "prove me wrong." |
