Sponsored by AYC and 516Missions, the ACTS1:8 area at AYC is an experience designed to give all who come through a clear picture of how WE can impact our world by giving of our time and resources. This year, we’ll focus on 3 ministries on the local, national, and international stages:
1) Arkansas Rice Depot 2) Surround the Sound 3) East Kenya Missions.
Students, Parents, and Leaders will recognize the need in each of these areas, be given an opportunity to get involved, and pray for the people affected by these ministries and organizations.

 

The “Beanie Weenies” and “Vienna Sausages” that you bring to AYC can be dropped off in the ACTS1:8 area at any time during the conference. The Arkansas Rice Depot will pick up our donation on Saturday Afternoon (4/14).

 

East Kenya Missionary James Taylor is a conference speaker and will be in the International area of the ACTS1:8 area to share about the work God is doing on the coast of Kenya. Surround the Sound Pastors/Church Planters Jonathan Johnson and Kyle Lewallen will be in the National Area to talk about what God is doing in the Pacific Northwest. The 516Missions team members will also be on hand to share their experiences both here and abroad and you’ll also have an opportunity to get involved in short term missions around the world.
